Vincent Company does not think about the potential consequences that Bayern Munich leaves the Champions League in Inter Milan, because he and his team keep the belief that he will overcome.

The odds are seemingly stacked against Bayern, who lost his first leg 2-1 in the Allianz Arena last week.

The companin side deals with many injuries, and Jamal Musiala, Dayot Remember and Alphonso Davies among those who are not available.

Bayern is in an excellent position to regain the title of Bundesliga from Bayer Leverkusen, which they run in the six-point title, despite Saturday 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund.

However, expectations in Bayern extend beyond domestic domination, and Kompany is at his press conference about the possibility of losing their job if they fail to create a turnaround.

“You always wonder what happens if we are eliminated. What if we pass? Do I get a new contract? But our mindset is that we will succeed,” Company replied.

“That’s how we go into the game. We are in mid-April and we are one game away from the Champions League semi-finals-three win from winning the Bundesliga. That is an opportunity. We live for the opportunity”

Bayern did not hold a clean list in any of his last five games, and they saw Jonas Urbig for the injured Manuel Neuer.

Kompany, however, is pleased with what he saw from Urbig at the time.

“It’s one of the positive stories we have to take away. Despite the failure, we have 100 confidence that we can do it with these guys,” Company added.

“What Jonas and other boys have shown so far is that they can perform performances that will achieve the results. The pressure is on experienced players. We will get to know Jonas’s energy and talent with us.”

The key question of choosing for Kompany is about who will play wide. Michael Olise and Leroy Sane started against Dortmund, but Serge Gnabry got off the bench to put Bayern 2-1.

“We have more than two players who have performed there. That’s very important for tomorrow,” Kompany explained.

“The match will go all the way, the first leg happened in the final stage. That’s why it is important that Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman and Michael Olise are in shape.

“We’ll see tomorrow that starts. The boys have been performing, hopefully tomorrow.”
