France on Tuesday said that 12 Algerian diplomatic officials expel the day after Algeria had published the expulsion of the same number of French officials in the escalation of the tension between the two countries. Paul Smith, an associate professor at France at Nottingham University, says that France is perceived as a refuge for Algerian opposition figures ‘creates a political problem’ in the relations between the two countries.
