Maryland Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen has previously introduced the “Cost A Law on Moving” in 2020 and yet in 2023.
“We hoped (an account) would no longer be needed, but it is,” Van Hollen said at a press conference. “It is necessary to stop Donald Trump and Elon Musk from spending US dollars of taxpayers by sabotaging services on which the US public depends. “
