American golfer Brandt Snedeker EA of Australia Geoff Ogilvy Captains were named for next year’s President Cup at Medinah Country Club outside Chicago, PGA Tour announced Tuesday.

The 16th Cup of the Presidents will be played in the course No. 3 of Medinah Country Club on September 22-27, 2026.

The US team has dominated the Cup of Presidents since its inception in 1994 with a 13-1-1 record against the international team, which includes golfers around the world outside Europe.

The American squad won 18 ½ – 11 ½ at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Canada in September at the latest edition.

Ogilvy, 46, was a three -time competitor for the international team in 2007, 2009 and 2011. He was assistant captain in each of the last four biennial events.

Ogilvy’s golf field design company, Ogilvy, cocking and mead (CMO), oversaw a complete renovation of the #3 course of Medinah Country Club in 2022 and 2023, adding new holes and re -eating existing ones.
